The Canadian Paediatric Society has published a guide for parents called Your Child's Best Shot, available in most libraries or ordered online. This book is highly recommended for parents and anyone else who wants to read more about immunization.
Governments and health care providers depend on the National Advisory Committee on Immunization to make specific recommendations on each vaccine approved for use in Canada. These recommendations can be found in the Canadian Immunization Guide.
